The basic training that will be held in Blumenau, state of Santa Catarina, Brazil, on the 21st and 22nd of August 2023, will provide an overview of the ZDHC CMS Framework and the requirements of a Chemicals Management System. The ZDHC CMS Framework is a framework developed by ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) to help companies effectively and safely manage chemicals in their textile and footwear supply chains.

During the course, participants will be introduced to the fundamental concepts of the ZDHC CMS Framework, including the principles of governance, risk control and legal compliance. They will learn how to implement the ZDHC CMS Framework at the plant level, understanding chemical management, monitoring and reporting requirements.

Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to explore case studies and best practices from companies that have already successfully implemented the ZDHC CMS Framework. This will provide valuable insights into implementation challenges and benefits.
